Evgenia Osmani
After a career in graphic design and advertising at firms including Grey Worldwide, Evgenia abandoned her profession to pursue oil painting exclusively, focusing on portraiture and still life.
Evgenia demonstrated artistic interest from early childhood. At age 5, her grandparents enrolled her in ballet, where she began collecting and studying photographs of dancers while attempting to recreate their poses through drawing. “I was mesmerised by the human body and anatomy. I found it beautiful.”
Throughout school, she filled notebooks with sketches and attempted her first portraits around age 10. Despite her creative abilities, her parents prioritised conventional education. She pursued law studies and graduated with a Law Degree from Ukraine before moving to London and enrolling in Graphic Design at the London College of Communication.

Her career progressed through design and advertising roles at prestigious firms including Grey Worldwide, working on campaigns for major brands like Nokia, P&G, Visa, GlaxoSmithKline, and BAT.
Ukrainian Stil Life
Her painting passion reignited through mentors Anna Maschak and Olga Brown. After viewing work by Nataliya Zozulya in 2017, Evgenia committed to formal study with this Ukrainian National Academy professor in Kingston, subsequently abandoning graphic design to pursue painting exclusively. She works primarily in oils with emphasis on portraiture, still life, and occasional landscapes.
