Kate Strupinski
A mixed media artist with a 1st class BA Hons in Illustration from Westminster and an MA from Central St Martin's, Kate's work layers paint, drawing, print and collage.
Kate Strupinski is a mixed media artist with a diverse creative portfolio. She studied at the University of Westminster where she earned a 1st class BA Hons in Illustration and subsequently completed a Master of Arts at Central St Martin’s School of Art.

She worked for many years as a successful freelance illustrator, with published work and clients including You magazine (The Daily Mail), Médecins sans Frontières, Graphics International and Greene Moore & Lowenhoff. Her work was also sold internationally to clients in the USA and Japan.
Impressions in green
After working as a visual merchandiser and in other roles, she rekindled her passion for painting and creating artworks, making it a greater focus in her life. She lives and works in south west London from her home studio and offers popular art workshops on drawing, painting, collage and mosaics.

Her artistic process involves layering paint, drawing, print and collage, creating work that reflects personal responses to subjects through both recognisable and abstract elements. She joined the En Plein Air group, practising landscape and local sketching that informs her more abstract work.
