“I always drew as a child, and spent many hours copying and colouring in Snoopy and Walt Disney cartoons. I am sure this helped me with developing an artistic eye. Painting and drawing is part of me, and I lose myself a bit when I’m in the world of creativity — it is good for the soul and everyone should do it.”

Her favourite artists include the French Impressionists, the Scottish Colourists, Ken Howard, Joan Eardley, Edward Seago, and John Singer Sargent.
