Sue Ribbans
A graphic designer and printmaker who graduated from Canterbury College of Art in 1963, Sue co-founded the Teddington Artists Group and spent 25 years co-creating the arts magazine NETWORK.
Sue Ribbans grew up on the Kent coast and attended Canterbury College of Art for four years, graduating in 1963 with qualifications in Graphic Design. She relocated to London’s Earls Court after college, where she married a fellow art student and raised three children while maintaining an active artistic practice.

Throughout her career, Sue has worked as a graphic designer, printmaker, and painter. She is known for her printmaking work, particularly pieces featuring ‘Fat Ladies’, and maintains memberships with Richmond Printmakers and the Southbank Printmakers Gallery in London.

She co-founded the Teddington Artists Group and helped organise the first Art Fair at the Landmark Arts Centre. Her artistic practice encompasses landscapes and experimental clay work, and she has exhibited with the Surrey Sculpture Society. Beyond visual arts, Sue spent 25 years helping create and manage the local arts magazine NETWORK and taught experimental drawing and painting in adult education for 10 years.
