Plein-air group

The Richmond Art Society’s Plein-air Group tries to meet at a regular time and day come rain or shine. Its aim is to encourage painters/sketchers who are already committed but don’t always want to be solitary and others who may have reservations about working away from home at all.

Gatherings will be on an “at your own risk” basis, free, informal and relaxed on Tuesdays, from March to the end of July. We meet at 10:30 and go on as long as each person chooses, carrying on or breaking off as best suits them or just coming for a chat.

The venue, will be notified by WhatsApp and will generally require a public loo nearby and maybe a supply of coffee. We will find spots along the River Thames (Teddington Lock, Kew Bridge), in Richmond Park (Isabella Plantation, Pembroke Lodge) and elsewhere.
